Make a Good Impression on the First Date

Prepare yourself. Before the date you should do something that relaxes you: sports, reading, yoga singing your favorite song – whatever makes you happy and happy. Wash yourself, use a deodorant, brush your teeth, comb your hair and do not forget to put fresh clothes on you!

Choose a place that will be special for your date. If you do not know what he / she likes, then ask. You want him / her to be happy to go to a place that is special to him / her.

If it is a date in a festive setting, then have a small welcome gift for him / her. A small box of chocolates or a single rose for example. Of course it would be better if you knew what flowers or sweets your date preferred. But never try a single rose at a casual first date – it might be too exaggerated, as such things express passionate love. Instead, you can try it with a homemade little thing, a small stuffed animal or something else that makes you look extraordinary. Never give anything big at a first date. The best gift you can give is your company.

If you are a man, pay the food; if you are a girl, then offer to pay the food; your offer will be refused, offer to pay only for you. If this is not the case, accept the invitation. He just tries to be nice. If you are gay / lesbian, just ask how he / she likes it and then explain how you want to manage it, and make a compromise. In many homosexual couples, this problem occurs because everyone wants to pay their own bill. It would be best if you were to change or pay for yourself. If you were the one who suggested the date, it is generally assumed that you are offering to pay for you and your date.

Make your date compliments. Compliments are your best friend when it comes to data. But do not exaggerate or be dishonest. Do not try to be kitschy either. Choose one or more of his qualities to make your date honest compliments.

Do something unusual and inexpensive, but you have invested ideas and time. It should not be great. Take a walk through your neighborhood or offer him / her a homemade cocoa, show him / her your favorite constellation or something else interesting, which will remind you of you.

Finish the evening with a kiss if possible. As you bring your date home, conduct the conversation on something romantic, like the moon, the stars, or the like. Pay attention to the looks and body language of your date to find out when the right time has come
